SANAA, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- At least three people, including a child, were killed when a Saudi-led coalition airstrike hit a gathering of internally displaced families in Yemen's Red Sea port city of Hodeidah on Wednesday, a local hospital official said.
Six others were critically wounded and sent to hospital for treatment, the official told Xinhua by phone on condition of anonymity.
Last week, a coalition airstrike killed 17 passengers fleeing escalating war in Hodeidah, and injured 20 others.
Saudi Arabia is leading an Arab military coalition that intervened in Yemen in March 2015 to support the government of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi after the Houthi rebels forced him into exile.
The Yemeni civil war has so far killed more than 10,000 people and displaced nearly 3 million others.
