Hui Fujun, a provincial-level inheritor of traditional Chinese paper-cutting, which is one of the intangible cultural heritages, started to learn the skill at the age of six. Hui attaches elements of east Gansu folk custom and traditional Chinese culture to her works. Hui's paper-cutting are widely sold to many regions across China and western countries like Germany and France. In order to protect traditional paper-cutting culture, Hui has provided trainings of paper-cutting skills for more than 200 people so far.
