NEW YORK, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 125km W of Panguna, Papua New Guinea at 15:13:57 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.02 km, was initially determined to be at 6.3576 degrees south latitude and 154.3482 degrees east longitude.
